Scoutapark - A Story of Pragmatic Dockerization LIMITED

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

ScoutaPark is the brain child of Dan Sheppard and his wife after struggling to find quality information on local public parks. With negligible funds to bootstrap this idea, Dan realized he was going to have to lean on friends and cheap offshore development teams if he wanted to put together a MVP to prove the concept.

Paul is a Snarky Devops Princess who is helping Dan out with operations and general devopsery so that Dan can focus on the product while the developers focus on writing code.

This is a story of a pragmatic use of combining Docker and Configuration Management tools to provide a delightful experience from local development by offshore developers all the way to production deployment and management.
